Stand on Pallasstraße under the slab where it spans the street.
The Pallasseum went up between 1974 and 1977 on the site of the demolished Berliner Sportpalast. A twelve-storey block bridges Pallasstraße and rests on a WWII bunker, with three six-storey wings around courtyards.
First called Wohnen am Kleistpark and known locally as the Sozialpalast, it lost its reputation through the 1980s and 1990s. A revitalisation began in 1999 with new entrances and a resident café, and the complex took its current name.
